The Auistrtalian Commision on Safety and Quality in Healthcare is currently asking for feedback to the draft National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards Aged Care Module. 

For those muliti purpose services needing to meet both the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards and the Aged Care Quality Standards, the Commision has identified 6 actions in addition to the NSQHS Standards to achieve accreditation under both sets of Standards. This is the Aged Care Module.  It's a great move because it will clarify requirements and reduce unnecessary work and duplication. Good move ACSQHC!

The Commision also has listed specific questions they would like you to consider when giving feedback so that's helpful. 

The consultation closed on August 8th so check it out and have your say.
